• Don’t mislead sellers – You are introducing them, not acting on behalf of Lockheart Estates.
   
• Don’t pressure anyone – Referrals must be made in good faith.
   
• Don’t offer advice – Legal, financial, and sales advice is our responsibility.
   
• Don’t act as an estate agent – You’re not handling the sale, viewings, or negotiations.
   
• Don’t share private details without consent – Always get permission before passing on seller information.
   

• Get consent first – Always ask the seller before submitting their details.
   
• Log the lead properly – Email us at hello@lockheartestates with the seller’s name and property address. Ask the seller to mention your name if they contact us directly.
   
• Be transparent – Let the seller know you may receive a referral fee if their property sells at auction.
   
• Think locally – Great leads often come from friends, family, neighbours, tradespeople, or colleagues who know of homes stuck on the market, in probate, or needing a fast sale.
   

• Referral fees are paid once the auction sale has completed.
   
• If rules are broken, or if the seller disputes your introduction, we reserve the right to withhold payment.
   
• Referral fees are paid from our marketing budget and are never charged to the seller.
   
• If in doubt, ask us — we want this to be positive, professional, and rewarding for everyone involved.
